JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was made by S.MANIKUMAR, J) Instant writ appeal is filed against the order made in W.P.No.19605 of 2017, dated 09.08.2017.

2. On 12.09.2019, we passed the following order:- "Mr.B.Ravi, learned counsel for the appellants, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

seeks time to file rejoinder.

2. Mr.R.Krishnamoorthy, learned Senior Counsel representing Mr.K.R.Tamizhmani counsel for Indian Maritime University, Chennai, submitted that appellant in W.A.Nos.1153 and 1155 of 2017, have left the University, year ago.

3. Mr.B.Ravi, learned counsel for the appellants, seeks time to ascertain the abovesaid facts also. Post on 19.09.2019."

3. Reverting, Mr.B.Ravi, learned counsel for the appellant submitted that, Ms.P.Rajalakshmi, appellant in W.A.No.1153 of 2017, had gone on maternity leave and not left the University. Insofar as, appellant in W.A.No.1155 of 2017, is concerned, he is not in service.

4. Placing on record, this Court is of the view that no purpose would be served in W.A.No.1155 of 2017, as the appellant had already left the University. Hence, W.A.No.1155 of 2017, is dismissed.

5. Though Mr.B.Ravi, learned counsel for the appellant in W.A.No.1153 of 2017, seeks liberty to restore the appeal, we are not inclined to accept the said contention.
