Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the respondent to appoint the petitioner as Junior Assistant with retrospective effect from 23.07.2015 on which date, the aforesaid R.Jansicheelakumari got regularised in the post of Junior Assistant in the respondent Bank, with consequential and other service benefits and pass such further or other orders.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is working as daily wage employee in the respondent Co-operative Bank. The services of the petitioner were regularised by order dated (*) 05.11.2007, thereafter the petitioner was working in the respondent bank. The petitioner completed his graduation from Anna Malai University. Though the similarly situated persons who were appointed along with the petitioner were regularised as Junior Assistants, however the petitioner's case was not considered. Therefore, he made a representation on 01.02.2017, but till date his representation was not considered by the respondent. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has filed the above writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice to issue directions to the respondent to dispose of the representation in accordance with law.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I am inclined to issue direction to the respondent to dispose of the representation dated 01.02.2017, in accordance with law and as per the Scheme, if not disposed already within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
