PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records relating to the detention order in Crl.MP.No.16/2024 dated 12.07.2024 passed under Section 2(b) of the TN Act 14 of 1982 and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenue Suresh, S/o. Ramar aged about 40 years, now confined in Central Prison, Tiruchirapalli before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

Mr.E.Raj Thilak, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the impugned order of detention has already been revoked by the competent Authority vide G.O.Rt.No.6083, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XV) Department dated 02.09.2024.
Therefore, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken and the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
