ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 294(b), 420 and 506(1) IPC in Crime No.933 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had received a sunm of Rs.1,85,350/-from the defacto complainant for the purpose of arrangement of loan. Thereafter, the petitioner neither secured loan nor returned the money, which led to the filing of the complaint. Further, the petitioner had threatened the defacto complainant with dire consequences. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner had cheated the defacto complainant to the tune of Rs.1,85,350/- by giving false promise as if he would arrange loan. He further submitted that the investigation is at initial stage. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the petitioner had cheated the defacto complainant and the investigation is at initial stage, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
