ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to defreeze the petitioner's bank account in SB Account No.1622155000069676 lying with the second respondent herein.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record. Though notice has been served on the respondents and their names are printed in the cause list, none appeared on behalf of the respondents, either in person or through a pleader.
3. The petitioner is having a savings bank account in SB Account No.1622155000069676 with the second respondent herein. While being so, on the request made by the first respondent, the second respondent has frozen the petitioner's account and the petitioner has not been permitted to operate the account alleging that some fraudulent amount was transferred to the petitioner's bank account. Among multiple bank accounts, one of the account is the petitioner's account. Further, it is alleged that a payment of Rs.2,000/- was made by one Silambarasan to the petitioner's bank account.

4. In view of the above, the petitioner's bank account in SB Account No.1622155000069676 lying with the second respondent is defreezed on condition that a sum of Rs.2,000/- be kept as a lien, as per the request made by the first respondent and the petitioner is permitted to operate his account.
5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
