ORDER
This contempt petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the orders of this Court made in W.P.No.36670 of 2003, dated 31.08.2016.
2. When the case came up for hearing on 30.03.2021, an affidavit had been filed on behalf of the respondent, inter alia stating that, insofar as the total arrears of Rs.16,02,796/- payable to the petitioner is concerned, a partial payment of Rs.6,41,575/- had been paid on 19.03.2021, therefore the balance amount of pension arrears, i.e., Rs.9,61,221/- would be paid within 12 weeks time. Recording the said averment made in the counter filed by the respondent, this Court granted time of 12 weeks.
3. Today when the contempt petition again is taken up for hearing, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the respondent that, the remaining amount of Rs.9,61,221/- also had been paid to the petitioner on 31.05.2021.
4. The receipt of the said amount on behalf of the petitioner is also acknowledged by the submission made by Mr.T.Sathiyamoorthy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.
5. His only grievance now is that, the total due payable to the petitioner since has been calculated as Rs.16,02,796/-, the break up figures for the same has not been furnished to the petitioner, therefore, if the break up figures are furnished, that would be useful for the petitioner only for 2/4
record purpose and he has made clear that, out of which he does not want to make any further claim and he has satisfied that the full claim as has been directed by this Court in the writ petition has been paid and complied with.
6. Recording the aforesaid submission and the development, this Court is inclined to close this contempt petition. Accordingly, this contempt petition is closed. It is open to the petitioner to make a request for giving the break up figure to the respondent and once such request is made, the break up figure for a sum of Rs.16,02,796/- shall be provided to the petitioner within 10 days thereafter.
