Criminal Original Petition under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code praying to direct the second respondent to complete the investigation and to file the charge sheet in Crime No.135 of 2022 on the file of the second respondent within stipulated time fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the 1/4

second respondent to complete the investigation and to file the charge sheet in Crime No.135 of 2022 within a stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the third respondent originally registered a case in the above said crime number on 05.1.2022 and on transfer, the second respondent subsequently again registered the case on 08.7.2022, no final report is filed till date.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the second respondent may be permitted to file a final report within a period of three months.

5. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to file either a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order 2/4

under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
