By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of Mandamus to direct the 3rd respondent to permit the registration and sale of property comprised in Punja Survey No.33/2, New Survey No.33/2A1, situated at Manthangal Village, Ranipet District.
3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for petitioner that petitioner submitted a representation on 14.07.2025 before the respondents seeking registration and sale of the subject property, however, the same is stated to be kept pending. Hence this writ petition.
4. At the outset, it is submitted by Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents that there is nothing to indicate that the petitioner has in fact presented any document including sale deed as submitted. He would further submit that if any such document is presented for registration in respect of the subject property, the same would be registered, if it otherwise in order. Agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner. 2/4
5. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of. It is open to the petitioner to present/re-present the documents for registration and on such representation the same would be registered if it is otherwise in order. If for any reason, registration is sought to be refused, the concerned respondent shall issue refusal slip/order assigning appropriate reasons. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law. No costs.
