ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.06.2024 within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that at the time of filling up the application, inadvertently she select the category as general instead of choosing OBC. She has participated in NEET UG 2024 conducted by the first respondent and secured 131 marks out of 720. Thereafter, she made a representation on 27.06.2024 to change the community category from General to OBC and the same is not considered. Hence, the present writ petition.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction toe the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
4. The learned Additional Solicitor General submitted that the petitioner made a representation before the third respondent, who is the competent person. She has to sent her representation to the first respondent, if she makes, the same will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this Court directs the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the first respondent along with a copy of this order to the first respondent within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon receipt of such representation, the first respondent shall consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation within a period one week thereafter.
7. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 12.09.2024 rli M.DHANDAPANI,J.
