O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to sanction provident fund loan to the petitioner by considering the petitioner's application dated 28.10.2021 and representation dated 27.11.2021 and to pay the amount a sum of Rs.2,75,000/- for the petitioner's daughter's marriage expenses, which is lying in the petitioner's Provident Fund Account within a time frame as fixed by this Court.
2. The petitioner made an application dated 28.10.2021 and a representation dated 27.11.2021 before the 2nd respondent for availing loan from provident fund for his daughter's marriage expenses and the same are pending and no decision has been taken by the Respondents/Transport Corporation. Therefore, he filed the instant writ petition before this Court.
3. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondents have granted Rs.25,000/- to the writ petitioner. However, no order has been passed on the application/representation made by the petitioner seeking provident fund loan for the purpose of his daughter's marriage expenses.
4. In view of the aforesaid requests made by the petitioner, the 2/4
respondents/transport corporation are directed to consider and pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
