ORDER
The petitioner has come forward with this petition under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to call for the records relating to the FIR in Crime No.21 of 2012 on the file of the first respondent/the Inspector of Police, Crime Branch, Villupuram, Villupuram District and quash the same.
2. Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, a case has been registered in Crime No.21 of 2012 for the offences punishable under Sections 409, 465, 467, 468, 471, 477(A), 420 and 120(b) IPC. However, the first respondent has not shown https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
any interest to investigate the matter. During the course of the argument, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the first respondent may be directed to file a final report within the stipulated time.
4. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
5. Considering the averments made in the affidavit and also perusing the typed set of papers that the case has been registered on 05.10.2012, the first respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.21 of 2012 and file a final report, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
6. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
