ORDER
The matter is today listed under the caption 'for reporting compliance'. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's son who went to Cambodia was involved in criminal offence and faced criminal prosecution and hence the petitioner made representation to the District Collector requesting intervention and help and the said representation was forwarded to the second respondent and since there was no fruitful response, filed W.P.No.27910 OF 2025 and this Court vide interim orders rendered necessary assistance to the petitioner's son. The learned counsel further submitted that this Court on 29.08.2025, recorded the developments in the case and disposed of the writ petition. 3.The learned Additional Solicitor General of India submitted that the Cambodian Court passed judgment in the criminal case on 17.09.
2025 after examining the witnesses, photos, video evidences and sentenced the Indian Nationals into 30 months imprisonment and the Cambodian Lawyer representing the Indian Nationals informed the Indian Embassy that the judgment copy will be made ready after a month. To that extent, compliance report dated 22.09.2025 has been filed on behalf of the respondents. 4.The compliance report dated 22.09.2025 filed on behalf of the respondents is taken on record and it shall form part and parcel of the record. 22-09-2025 WP NO.
