ORDER

The writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the 1 st respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 09.01.2025 against the order passed by the 2 nd respondent dated 24.12.2024 rejecting the appeal filed by the petitioner against the cancellation of gun license issued to the petitioner.

2. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that statutory appeal is now pending before the 1 st respondent which was filed on 09.01.2025, there shall be a direction to the 1 st respondent to deal with the same on merits and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
