ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner and her house situated in D.No.3/1A, Gandhi Nagar, 1st Street, Thiruvottriyur, Chennai 600 019 based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 01.12.2021.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the second respondent sister's son of the petitioner had not permitted her to enter into the house. All are residing in the same house. This is an ancestral property. Thereafter, the petitioner immediately lodged a complaint to the respondent, who had taken her into the house and she is residing in peace. Her only apprehension is that the second respondent would commit some commotion with a view to chase her away.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

receipt of the complaint, the respondent police immediately visited the house and enquired the occupants and ensured that the petitioner lives in peace. Now, there is no threat of the second respondent restraining the petitioner to enter into the house. As on date, she is living in peace.

4.In view of the same, the criminal original petition is closed and in case, any threat or obstruction, the petitioner to file necessary petition.
