2/6 PRAYER Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to consider the objections dated 04.06.2025 given by the petitioners herein to the letter - statement dated 09.05.2025 submitted by the 4th respondent herein and thereby restrain the 1st respondent herein from allotting any common symbol or permitting the contest in block to the candidates contesting the Heavy Vehicles Factory, Works Committee and Industrial Canteen Managing Committee Election 2025, to be held on 26.07.2025 or any other subsequent date on the basis of any consent/letter/sponsor given or extended by the 4th respondent or any one on his behalf or under him, claiming to represent the HVF National Workers Union, Avadi, Chennai.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent to consider the objections dated 04.06.2025 given by the petitioners herein to the letter - statement dated 09.05.2025 submitted by the 4th respondent herein and thereby restrain the 1st respondent herein from allotting any common symbol or permitting the contest in block to the candidates contesting the Heavy Vehicles Factory, Works Committee and Industrial Canteen Managing Committee Election 2025, to be held on 26.07.2025 or any other subsequent date on the basis of any consent/letter/sponsor given or extended by the 4th respondent or any one on his behalf or under him, claiming to represent the HVF National Workers Union, Avadi, Chennai.
2.When the writ petition was taken up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the 3 rd respondent produced the proceedings dated 30.06.2025. On going through the same, it is seen that the request made by the petitioners has been rejected.
4/6 3.In the light of the above development, no further orders can be passed in this writ petition and if the petitioners are aggrieved, it is left open to the them to agitate their remedy in the manner known to law. 4.This writ petition is disposed of in the above terms.
