O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to respondents to consider his online application dated 03.05.2024 vide Application ID No. 2024/0153/02/017966 seeking issue of patta in respect of property situated in Plot No. 485, Door No. 12/2, Old No. 38/2, Vth Trust Cross Street, Mandavelipakkam, Chennai-600 028 comprised in Old R.S.No. 4460 (part) and 4458 (part), New R.S.No. 4436/173, Block No. 98 to an extent of 3 ares and 34.5 Sq.ft within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, the above mentioned property originally belongs to one Navaneetham Ammal and she executed a Will bequeathing her 2/5

interest in the property in favour of her grandchildren namely S.Arunkumar and S.Rajkumar. Later, both of them entered into a partition deed on 04.04.2002. The petitioner's vendor namely S.Rajkumar acquired 1975 Sq.feet of land in the above mentioned property under a partition deed. Later, the said Rajkumar sold the property acquired by him under partition in favour of one Kumaresan and Mrs.Deepika under a sale deed dated 27.02.2020. The above said Deepika executed a settlement deed settling her right in favour of one Sujatha Devi. Later, the said Kumaresan and Sujatha Devi jointly sold the property in favour of petitioner under a sale deed dated 20.03.2024. Now, the petitioner submitted the online application on 03.05.2024 seeking transfer of patta in his name and the same has not been considered. Therefore, he is before this Court.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondents 1 and 2, submitted that the online application of the petitioner will be considered on its' own merits within a time fixed by this Court.

4. In view of the same, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 03.05.2024 and pass 3/5

final orders on its' own merits within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
