Respondents Prayer:- Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the records relating to the detention order dated 14.06.2025 passed by the second respondent in No.351/BCDFGISSSV/2025 and quash the same and direct the respondent herein to produce the petitioners husband Veeramani S/o.Gunasekaran aged 22 years who is presently undergoing detention in the Chennai Central Prison, before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith. 2. Learned counsel on both sides submit that the impugned preventive detention order has since been revoked (Advisory Board) vide proceedings dated 25.07.2025 bearing reference G.O.Rt.No.4511, Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department.
3. In the light of the above submission, nothing survives in the above
habeas corpus petition.
4. Accordingly, recording the above said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
