ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking direction to the first respondent/District Collector, Villupuram District to decide the representation dated 25.12.2018, which is pending with the said authority for a considerable period.

2. It appears that some Report of the Block Development Officer, Kallakurichi Block and Taluk has been obtained in this matter, but the representation of the petitioner has not been decided so far. Hence, the petitioner has filed the above writ petition.

3. Having heard the learned counsel for the parties, we direct the first respondent/District Collector, Villupuram to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 25.12.2018, within a period of four weeks from today, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. The petitioner, without any notice from the side of the first respondent/District Collector, Villupuram, may appear before the said authority in the first instance on 27.09.2019.

4. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
