ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register a case on the petitioner's complaint, dated 29.11.2021, vide CSR No.371 of 2021 and proceed with the investigation in accordance with law.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though C.S.R.No.371 of 2021 was assigned on the complaint of the petitioner, no action taken by the 2nd respondent Police so far. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that on the complaint of the petitioner, C.S.R.No.371 of 2021 was assigned and enquiry is being conducted by the 2nd respondent. Since the complaint seems to be lodged against the officials of the temple in Salem District, notice to be sent to the Assistant Commissioner, Hindu Religious and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Charitable Endowments, Salem and thereafter, action would be taken, if cognizable offence is made.

4.In view of the above, the 2nd respondent Police is directed to proceed with the enquiry in C.S.R.No.371 of 2021, conduct investigation and register FIR if cognizable offence is made out.

5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
