Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the second respondent dated 26.04.2016 and to quash the same and to direct the respondents to implement the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014 and to register the petitioner as vendor and grant her license to hawk near Nageswara Park, Mylapore, Chennai.

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We are informed by Mr.K.Venkataramani, learned Additional Advocate General that the vending committees have now been formed and the petitioner may approach the vending committee, as according to the respondent, in the present site, it is not feasible to permit the petitioner to vend.
