This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the the second respondent and his subordinates not to harass the petitioner and his family members.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the petitioner is arrayed as an accused in three crime numbers, out of which, two cases are pending on the file of the second respondent and the third one is pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, Kovilpalayam Police Station, Coimbatore.

4. Under such circumstances, once the regular first information reports have been registered, the question of "Not to harass" will not arise. Any direction issued by this Court at this stage will amount to interfering with the investigation conducted by the respective police officials.
