This petition has been filed to transfer all further investigation in Crime No.372 of 2014 from the file of C.C.B/E.D.F-1/TEAM II to the Economic Offences Wing of the Central Bureau of Investigation to be investigated by an officer not below the Rank of Superintendent of Police in the Central Bureau of Investigation and consequently direct the CBI to file the Final Report within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation has been completed, the charge sheet is filed and taken on file in C.C.No.2678 of 2018, which is pending trial before Special Court for CCB, CBCID, Egmore. 3. In view of the above submission, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition. Therefore, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
