ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.07.2022 in which the petitioner has sought for compassionate appointment due to the death of his Father Late Palayam, while in service with the respondent / Transport Corporation.

2. According to the petitioner, the other legal heirs have given consent and therefore, he is entitled for compassionate appointment. According to him, even though, he has given a representation on 08.07.2022 seeking for compassionate appointment, till date, his representation has not been considered and hence, he filed this writ petition.

3. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation is considered on merits and in accordance with law.

4. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the second respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation dated 08.07.2022 seeking for compassionate appointment on account of the death of his Father Late Palayam while in service, within a period of 2/4

twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the aforesaid directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
