O R D E R

The petitioner seeks writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider his representation dated 15.09.2016 to initiate appropriate action on the complaint regarding maladministration on merits.

2. Heard Mr.Babu Muthu Meeran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3. Though it is styled as a mandamus to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 15.09.2016, a perusal of the said representation would reveal that the petitioner has got some grievance against one Manickavasagam, Block Development Officer and Rajasekar, Executive Engineer, at St.Thomas Mount Panchayat Union who are said to have indulged

in corruption practice and mal-administration and to be transferred out of the said Union.

4. The petitioner has got no right to seek any officer out of any place. If at all, the petitioner has got any grievance with the said officials who are indulged in corruption practice, it is always open to him to approach appropriate authorities with all details. Hence, the writ petition fails.

5. In the result, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
