O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to consider the representation made by the petitioner wherein, the petitioners have sought for providing police protection to conduct the Janmashtami function to be held from 5th to 7th September, 2023.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondents 1 to 5.

3.According to the petitioners, the 6th respondent is creating trouble and he is bent upon stopping the function to be held from 5th to 7th September, 2023. This is clearly a 2/4

private dispute between the parties and the police will not have any role to play. Hence, there is no question of directing the police to provide for police protection. If any law and order problem is created, the police will get into the scene and take action in accordance with law.
