ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking a direction to the respondents to file a final report relating to the Crime No.419 of 2014 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Sooramangalam Police Station, Salem District forthwith. 2.Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner dated 02.06.2014, a case has been registered in Crime No.419 of 2014 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 149, 232, 506(i) I.P.C. & 3(1)(g), 3(1)(s) of SC/ST (POA) Amended Ordinate Act, 2014. However, the respondent has not shown any interest to investigate the matter and lay a final report. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present petition for the relief https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

as stated above.

4.Resisting the same, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that investigation is going on and hence, he prays for three months time to complete the investigation and file a final report.

5.Considering the submissions made on both sides, the first respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No. 419 of 2014 and file a final report, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
