Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, praying to direct the learned Family Court Judge, Puducherry to dispose of the above Crl.M.P.No.80/2011 within a time frame to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court by directing respondent to make the payment of arrears of maintenance to the petitioner.

ORDER
The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking to direct the learned Family Court Judge, Puducherry to dispose of the Crl.M.P.No.80 of 2011 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court by directing the respondent to make the payment of arrears of maintenance to the petitioner.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the petition, notice to the respondent is dispensed with. 3.Petitioner is the wife of the respondent herein and she filed M.C.No.48 of 2006, but the M.C.No.48 of 2006 was dismissed. Hence, she preferred Crl.R.C.No.1285 of 2007 wherein, an order has been passed by this Court directing the respondent herein to pay a maintenance of Rs.25,000/- per month and that order has been challenged before the Hon'ble Apex Court and that has been dismissed. Thereafter, the petitioner filed Crl.M.P.No.80 of 2011 under Section 125(3) of Cr.P.C., but the learned Family Court Judge, Puducherry has not taken any steps to dispose of the matter. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with this petition.

the arguments advanced by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court directs the Presiding Officer, Family Court, Puducherry to dispose of the Crl.M.P.No.80 of 2011 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.This Criminal Original Petition is accordingly disposed of.
