This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.07.2024 and dispose of the same within a time frame.

2. Heard Mr.C.Munusamy, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.K.Surendran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

3. In the considered view of this Court, no useful purpose will be served in entertaining this writ petition without the petitioner challenging the selection of R.Sivabalan. A mere representation to the respondents will not enure in favour of the petitioner. This is in view of the fact that unless and otherwise the selection of R.Sivabalan is interfered, there is no question of entertaining the request made by the petitioner.

4. In view of the above, this Court does not find any ground to grant the relief sought for in this writ petition. 2/4
