Prayer :- Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, to direct the learned Subordinate Judge, Ponneri to dispose of the above suit in O.S.No.53 of 2022 expeditiously within a time framed manner.

2. The defendant in O.S.No.53 of 2022 before the Principal Sub Judge, Ponneri is the petitioner, seeking expeditious disposal of the said suit in O.S.No.53 of 2022.

3. It is also brought to my notice, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that in CRP.No.995 of 2024, by an order dated 19.03.2024, this Court had already directed the Principal Subordinate Judge, Ponneri to dispose of the suit as expeditiously as possible.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner further states that despite the said direction passed by this Court, the Trial is yet to commence and hence the petitioner has been constrained to come up by way of this petition.

5. Considering the fact that an earlier direction has been issued by this Court for expeditious disposal of the suit, and in view of the admitted position, that the Trial is yet to commence, I am inclined to allow the Revision Petition, with a direction to the learned Principal Subordinate Judge, Ponneri to dispose of the suit by 31.01.2026. 2/4
