ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the fourth respondent to issue patta to the petitioner's property in S.No.89/1 situated at Krishnagiri Taluk & District ad-measuring 3 Acres based on his representation dated 25.07.2022 within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he is an ex-serviceman and served the Indian Army for a period of ten years. He further claims that he was allotted with 3 Acres of ''poramboke land'' as per the direction of the Central Government, through the Revenue Department vide order dated 23.12.1971 comprised in S.No.89/1 situated in Gooliam Village Krishnagiri Taluk and District. In order to obtain Patta in respect of the above said property, the petitioner made several representations before the respondents 1, 2, and 4 and the last of which on 25.07.2022. Since the same was not 2/5

considered by the respondents 1,2, and 4, the present Writ Petition has been filed seeking the aforesaid relief.

Though very many grounds have been raised in this Writ Petition, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the fourth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.07.2022 and pass appropriate orders within a particular time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has no objection for the said order being passed.

5. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the fourth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.07.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law after affording 3/5

an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as aggrieved persons, if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above observation and directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
