The prayer sought for in the present petition is to call for the records in C.C.No.1234 of 2015, on the file of Learned XIV Metropolitan Magistrate,
Egmore, Chennai, and quash the same.
2. Pending proceedings in C.C.No.1234 of 2015, the defacto complainant and the petitioners have amicably settled the dispute among themselves.
3. Today the first respondent and the second respondent/defacto complainant are personally present before this Court and they have also been identified. An affidavit dated 29.08.2017 has also been filed by the second respondent/defacto complainant, stating that he has no objection if the charge sheet in C.C.No.1234 of 2015 is been quashed.
4. Recording the affidavit filed by the second respondent/defacto complainant, the proceedings in C.C.No.1234 of 2015 on the file of learned XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai is quashed.
5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. Connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
