When the matter came up for hearing today, the petitioner as well as the second respondent/defacto complainant are personally present before this Court and identified themselves. They also produced their identity proofs before this Court. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel for the second respondent and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the first respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that pending proceedings in C.C.No.20 of 2016 in Crime No.496 of 2015 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No.1, Kancheepuram https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

District, the second respondent/de-facto complainant and the petitioner have amicably settled the issue among themselves and the de-facto complainant has also filed a compromise affidavit dated 15.10.2019 stating that she has no objection if the proceedings in C.C.No.20 of 2016 in Crime No.496 of 2015 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No.1, Kancheepuram District.

4.Recording the statements made by the defacto complainant in the affidavit filed by her dated 15.10.2019, the entire proceedings in C.C.No.20 of 2016 in Crime No.496 of 2015 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No.1, Kancheepuram District, is quashed. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
