O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN,J.) While dismissing the Special Leave Petition filed against the orders in W.A.No.1458 of 2019 dated 20.01.2023, the Hon'ble Supreme Court had extended the time for complying with the orders by eight (8) weeks on 10.10.2023.

The District Collector, Dharmapuri has filed compliance report stating that the orders have been complied and the relevant Government Order in G.O.(2D)No.164 dated 06.12.2023 has also been produced. The proceedings of the District Collector, Dharmapuri dated 07.12.2023 have also been placed before us.

3. It is seen there from that the services of the employees / appellants in the writ appeal have been regularized with effect from the date on which they have completed ten years of service. There is also a direction to pay the monetary benefits with effect from 03.12.2018. It is the complaint of Mr.V.Vijayashankar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the monetary benefits have not been paid. Since this order has been issued only yesterday, we are sure that the monetary benefits will be paid within a period of eight (8) weeks from today.

4. Hence, this Contempt Petition is closed.
