Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to consider and incorporate the name of the petitioner in the Voters List with respect to Ward -24, Rajarajan Street of Tiruvannamalai Constituency on or before 03.10.2016 so as to enable the petitioner to present her nomination for the Ward -24, Rajarajan Street of Tiruvannamalai Town before the conclusion of date meant for Nomination for Ward member for the Local Body Election - 2016.

This writ petition has been filed to include the name of the petitioner in the voters list.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that after filing of this writ petition, the petitioner's name has been included in the voters list and hence, the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.
3. Recording the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
