This petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 to quash the FIR in Crime No.119 of 2019, pending on the file of the 1st respondent, i.e., the Inspector of Police, Anna Police Station, Chennai District.

2. Heard Mr.B.Mohan, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.C.Iyyapparaj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

3. It is stated by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the investigation in Crime No.119 of 2019 has been completed and a charge sheet has also been filed.

4. Since, the petitioner seeks for a direction to quash the FIR in the present Criminal Original Petition, no effective orders can be passed in view of filing of the charge sheet.

5. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the charge sheet in a manner known to law, if he chooses to do so. No costs.
