ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the first and second respondents to take further action of the petitioner complaint dated 05.08.2022 and to investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner gave a cheque bearing No. 10003002 to one Vasandhi for a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- to purchase jewel for the petitioner's daughter marriage. The said Vasandhi neither gave the jewel nor returned the sum of Rs.10,00,000/-. Though the petitioner gave a complaint before the second respondent with regard to take action against the said Vasanthi, no action has been taken by the second respondent. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side), appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 submitted that the second respondent police has received the complaint of the petitioner dated 05.08.2022 and the investigation is under progress.

4. Recording the same, the second respondent is directed to take suitable action upon the complaint given by the petitioner dated 05.08.2022 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
