ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed for directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner as Fair Price shop Salesman as per the Notification No.01/2024 dated 09.10.2024.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he is the first generation graduate in his family. He would further submit that he has applied for the post of Salesman in the 1 st respondent department through notification No.01/2024 dated 09.10.2024. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he applied to the said post in SI.N.18100295. It is his submission that he comes within PSTM category. Inspite of that, his name is not found in the selection list. In this connection, a representation dated 05.07.2025 is sent to the st and 2 nd respondents and such representation is yet to be considered.

3. At this juncture, the learned Special Government Pleader would submit that they will consider the petitioner's representation on its own merits within a reasonable time.

4. Without going into the merits of the case, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.07.2025 and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this

order.
