Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this Court to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 7 herein to pass suitable direction to the Appointing /Disciplinary Authority / Government to take into consideration of the issuance of G.O.(2D).No.442 Home (Pol-IV) department dated 26.09.2016 passed by the 1st respondent and pending the Departmental Disciplinary action against the delinquent accused officers namely 9th and 10th respondent herein under Rule 3(b) of the Tamil Nadu Police Subordinate services (Discipline and Appeal)Rules 1955 and also registration of criminal case under the Prevention of Corruption Act by the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti Corruption Department in Cr.NO.2 of 2017 dated 28.03.2017 to suspend the delinquent accused officers namely 9th and 10th respondents herein as contemplated under Rule 3(e) (i) and (ii) of the above said Act with immediate effect.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.T.C.S.Raja Chockalingam, learned counsel appearing for petitioner, on instructions submits that this Court may permit the petitioner to withdraw the Writ Petition.
