By consent of both the learned counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.

The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records in Na.Ka.No.666/A1/2024 dated 16.04.2025 of the 3rd respondent the District Manager/Deputy Collector (Tasmac) Kancheepuram (South) District and quash the suspension order of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders to re-instate the petitioner into service as supervisor in the Tasmac Shop No.4044, Sevelimedu.

3. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is working as a Supervisor in the TASMAC Shop No.4044 at Sevilimedu, Kanchipuram District. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the District Manager (Cuddalore) has made a surprise inspection in that shop on 29.03.2025 and found that there was a M.R.P. violation by the salesman. It is the contention of the petitioner that the charge memo alleging that there is a MRP violation. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on that day, the petitioner was on leave and he already submitted a leave application. However, without considering such factual position, the 3rd respondent had issued the impugned charge memorandum. Though in the present writ petition such suspension order dated 16.04.2025 is under challenge, the learned counsel for the petitioner has restricted the prayer that if the 3rd respondent conclude the enquiry proceedings within a reasonable time, it would suffice to the petitioner. 3/6
5. At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that they may able to conclude the enquiry proceedings within a period of four weeks, from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

In view of the above submissions of either side, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the 3rd respondent to conclude the enquiry proceedings initiated against the petitioner and pass orders on it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
7. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected writ miscellaneous petitions are closed. 29.07.2025 Index : Yes/No Speaking order /Non Speaking Order dm 4/6
