ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned order relieving the petitioner after contract period of over.

2. The petitioner was originally engaged as Trainer in the Gymnasium of M.L.A.Hostel for the Legislators on 11.04.2012 with a consolidated pay of Rs.10,000/- and now his impugned order has been passed relieving the petitioner, since, the contract period of over. Challenging the same and seeking regularisation, this writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record. The very impugned order makes it clear that he has been engaged as Gym Instructor in the Legislative Assembly Hostel and being paid with a consolidated pay of Rs.12,000/- and his appointment is purely on contract basis and the same is expired on 04.07.2023. Therefore, this Court is of the view that as a matter of right, the petitioner cannot challenge the relieving order that too after the contract period is over.

4. Accordingly, I do not find any merits in the case and the writ petition 2/4

stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
