Today, the matter was listed under the caption "for reporting compliance".

This Court, while disposing of this petition on 30.07.2025, directed the Director General of Police to take action against the officers who had held the post of Investigating Officer in the second respondent police station from the date of the First Information Report i.e. from 10.04.2023 to till date, for not conducting the investigation and for failing to comply with the orders of this Court and to file an action taken report before this Court on or before 12.09.2025.

Pursuant to the said order dated 30.07.2025, a Compliance Report 12.09.2025 was produced before this Court. The report indicates that action has been taken against the two officers who served between 25.05.2023 and the present date. In respect of the other officer who served between 10.04.2023 to 16.05.2023, no disciplinary action was initiated, as it was found that he had properly discharged his duties by enquiring the petitioner and witnesses and issued summons to the counter petitioner in a proper manner.

The Compliance Report dated 12.09.2025 is taken on record and in view of the above, no further orders are required. Let the action already initiated proceed in accordance with law. Accordingly, the petition is closed and the Compliance Report shall form part of this order. 12.09.2025 ham To 1.
