Prayer :- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to dispose of the appeal petition filed by the petitioners in Appeal No.Au4/78/2019 pending on his file, within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed for direction directing the second respondent to dispose of the appeal petition filed by the petitioners in Appeal No.Au4/78/2019 pending on his file, within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard, Mr.A.E.Ravichandran, the learned counsel for the petitioners, and Mr.P.Baladhandayutham, Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The punja land of an extent of 0.33.0 ares (0.82 cents) in survey no.131/6 of Alathur Village, Sankarapuram Taluk, Kallakurichi District (erstwhile Villupuram District) was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

originally assigned by order dated 31.10.2001 by the Tahsildar. However, the same was cancelled and aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed appeal before the second respondent and it is pending in appeal No.Au4/78/2019.

4. Considering the above, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the appeal No.Au4/78/2019 after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and the counter parties, if any, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
