The petitioner, who was arrayed as accused in Crime No.208 of 2014 has filed this petition to quash the proceedings in P.R.C.No.2 of 2016 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Seerkazhi,

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent, on instructions submitted that after committal, the case has been taken on file in S.C.No.27 of 2017 by the learned Judge, Mahila Court, Nagapattinam. He further submitted that totally there are twenty two witnesses in this case, out of which, nine witnesses have been examined and the case is posted on 01.09.2020, for examination of L.Ws.10 to 15.

3. Recording the above submission, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is Page No.2/4

dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
