The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Section 392 of IPC, in Crime No.212 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that accused person had snatched gold chains weighing 8.34 and 2.12 sovereigns from the de-facto complainant. Hence the case.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he is no way connected with the alleged offence. Hence he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent would submit that there are 6 previous case pending as against the petitioner out of which two cases are similar in nature. 5. Taking into consideration the allegations and also the bad antecedent of the petitioner and the fact that the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is essential, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
