.. Respondents PRAYER : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent herein to return the petitioner's Driving Licence bearing DL.No.TN-58-20040005444 which is valid upto 17.5.2019 forthwith.

O R D E R

Heard Mr.A.Ganesan, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.J.Sivakumar, learned Government Advocate, who has accepted notice on behalf of the respondents. With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for disposal.

2.The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition, seeking for a direction upon the first respondent to return his Driving Licence.

3.It is submitted by the learned Government Advocate that https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

during the pendency of the Writ Petition, the petitioner's Driving Licence has been suspended till 18.12.2016, by the first respondent, by an order dated 28.7.2016, which has been despatched to the petitioner on 30.08.2016.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that till date the petitioner has not received the order. 5.If the said order has not yet been communicated to the petitioner, the respondents shall communicate the same to the petitioner, within a period of one week from today by a 'Registered Post' and the petitioner is granted liberty to challenge the order dated 28.07.2016, if he is so advised. With the above direction and observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
