ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the 2nd respondent police to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb from the respondents 3 to 7 for putting up fencing for his property at Kalangkuppam Street, measuring to an extent of 623.42., Sq.,mts., out of 01200 Sq., mts., in S.No.203/7, R.S.No.203/7A, Old S.No.208/6 at Veedur Village, within the limits of Mailam union and SubRegistration District of Vikravandi and Registration District of Villupuram, based on his representation dated 25.03.2025 to the 1st Respondent. 2/5

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and perused the materials available on record.

3. Since no adverse order is being passed against the private respondents, notice to the private respondents is dispensed with.

4. It is seen that there is a property dispute between the parties. The petitioner with the help of police, trying to give a criminal colour to the civil dispute. Therefore, the petitioner is not entitled to the relief sought for.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed at the admission stage itself.

6. However, the petitioner is liberty to work out his remedy before the competent civil Court.
