O R D E R

This petition is filed for quashing the proceedings in C.C.No.1346 of 2015 on the file of the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai.

2.As per the order of this Court dated 21.04.2016, the husband of the first respondent is directed to pay the school fees of his child on 25.04.2016.

3.Today, it is represented by the learned counsel for the respondents that the husband of the first respondent has not paid the school fees and hence, the matter was not settled. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Heard both sides.

5.Considering the submissions made on both sides, I am of the view that this petition is filed only with a view to drag on the proceedings. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.1346 of 2015. However, a direction is issued to the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, to dispose C.C.No.1346 of 2015 pending on its file within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
