This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioners to quash the proceedings in S.T.C. No.1958 of 2023 pending before the Fast Tract Court-V, Saidapet.

2. Notice sent to the private respondent has been returned as door locked.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners want to settle the matter either before the mediation or before the Lok Adalat.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the petitioners are directed to approach the concern Magistrate and file a memo to refer the matter either to Mediation or to Lok Adalat in order to settle the issue.

5. In case the petitioners file the memo, the concern Magistrate shall consider their memo and after intimating to the respondent, shall refer the matter either to Mediation or to Lok Adalat whichever is suitable for the purpose.
