The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking a direction to the second respondent to register the case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 03.02.2016. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the respondents on 03.02.2016. But the respondents have not shown any interest to enquire the matter and register the case. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with this petition for the above stated relief. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that on the basis of the petitioner's complaint, enquiry has been conducted and the same was closed on 11.02.2016.
4.At this juncture, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given another representation dated 19.02.2016 to the Superintendent of Police, Thiruvannamalai.
5.Heard both sides.
6.A perusal of the prayer in the petition reveals that the petitioner has sought for a direction to the second respondent to register the case on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 03.02.2016. According to the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the petitioner's complaint dated 03.02.2016 was enquired and closed on 11.02.2016. Under such circumstances, nothing survives in the complaint given by the petitioner dated 03.02.2016. Therefore, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
