This petition is filed to direct the second respondent to allow the petitioner/Inspector General of Registration to register the undivided portions of the land alone in respect of the Apartment Nos.5-J and 5-K at No.7 PT Rajan Salai, KK Nagar, Chennai pending disposal of this writ petition.

Today, when the matter was listed before this Court, Mr.V.B.R.Menon, petitioner, appeared in person and undertakes to pay the stamp duty and registration charges to the Sub Registrar as per G.O.Ms.No.131, Commercial Taxes and Registration (J1) Department dated 01.12.2023, for registering the sale deed executed by the promoted/builder in favour of the petitioner, without prejudice to his rights and contention to be raised at the time of hearing of the writ petition.

Mr.P.Wilson, learned Senior Counsel appearing for respondents 1 to 3 agree that the aforesaid document will be registered, on payment of charges and registration fee, as per G.O.Ms.No.131 dated 01.12.2023, subject to the outcome of the order passed in the main writ petition.

With the above, the petition stands closed.
